Young renters face significant challenges when decorating their first apartments, struggling to achieve their desired aesthetic while staying within budget constraints. This leads to decision paralysis, wasted money on unsuitable purchases, and spaces that don't reflect their personal style.
Goal
Create an intuitive app to simplify apartment decoration with budget-aware designs
Our goal was to develop a tablet application that helps users visualize their space before purchasing, offering budget-conscious room designs, AR visualization capabilities, and curated furniture packages tailored to their style preferences and financial constraints.
Result
User testing validated core features with 100% positive reception
All twenty diverse test participants responded positively to House2Home's core features, particularly the mood boards and budget filtering. Users found the interface professional and trustworthy, strongly validating the app's value proposition for young renters navigating their first decoration experience.
